Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels

Well, here's a recipe.  Sort of.  It requires approximately 7% brainpower to make this.  And 100% willpower not to eat it all at once.  I'm sure you can guess what happened to me.

I think pretzels are one of those deceptive snacks.  You THINK they're healthy mostly because at least they're not potato chips.  But they're actually just a carb-bomb that you can eat a pound of in one sitting.  Please tell me I'm not alone on this.  We all eat pretzels in bulk, right?  ESPECIALLY those Snyder's Butter Pretzels.  My god, they are perfect.
These would be the perfect "sneak it in your purse" movie snack, right?  I once made a Buffalo Pretzel version and ate about 547 of them while watching The Great Gatsby.  Not my proudest moment.  Or was it?

Here's the recipe!

Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pretzels
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:
1.  Preheat oven to 300 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with tin foil and lightly spray with oil.
2.  In a large bowl, combine oil and pretzels, mixing thoroughly to coat.  Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top of pretzels and mix well, making sure each pretzels is well coated.
3.  Bake for about 20 minutes, stirring once half way through baking.  Allow to cool before eating.

Enjoy!
