Stuff I Want #1

Are you a sicko like me who makes an Excel spreadsheet with all the items and related links for things you want rightthisveryminute?  Just me? That's cool.  Anyway, here's some stuff I want these days:

1.  Target Woman's Messanger Bag-  I've never been one for designer bags (I'm far too fickle and I like new bags more than I can afford) so I love Target or Forever21 for bags that I can use for a season and be done with.  This bag is a great size (big enough to fit the essentials and a Kindle, not too big to fit your life's belongings) and I love the tan and black.  I'm generally not one to go for hardware on a bag but the straps are subtle enough that I think they add a nice touch.  

Walnut Brownie Brittle

Have you heard of brownie brittle before?  I had the fortune/misfortune of finding this Brownie Brittle in the grocery store one day and I was instantly hooked.  It's got the intensity of a chocolatey fudge-y brownie but it's light and crispy so you think you can eat a whole bag with no consequences.

SO I'VE HEARD.  I have far too much self control to know about that.  Obviously.

It's Love: Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Paint

In the last few months, I've become a bit of an eyeshadow junkie.  I own far too many palettes than I care to admit and new formulas intrigue me.  But let's be real, I'm still a neutrals-lovin' gal to the core.  I'm not that adventurous.  

So these Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Paints caught my eye.  They've got a decent selection of neutral shades and the paint formula with doe-foot applicator is unlike anything I own.  

Ritz Crunch Cookies

So the good news is, we already know that Ritz crackers taste good in desserts.  I mean, I kinda always knew that because have you ever bitten a Ritz cracker and then immediate tossed a few chocolate chips into your mouth?  

.....Yeah, me either.  

But I would "assume" it tastes pretty damn good.  If I had to guess. 

Day in the life: Photo an hour (ish)

I've seen a few bloggers do a "Photo an Hour" post and I'm always FASCINATED to spend a day in the life of someone else.  I'd been planning on doing one of these posts for months but always forgot to start snapping pics until noon which makes the whole point moot. (Am I using moot right?)  Finally I got my act together to document a normal Saturday.  Have a perusal, will you?

I know.  Press-ons.  How 1987.  But they've come a long way baby!  

I know they're not for everyone but if I'm in the mood to wear press-ons, this is the one and only brand I use.  Here are some pros:

6 Things Making Me Happy This Week

Oh hey I got a new blog design!  The mood struck last week and 2 hours later, I had me a new blog.  That will likely happen in another 3 months when I decide I hate my current design again.  I'm smart like that.  

1.  The thing is, I don't think these are even the most ridiculous ones.  

2.  Ya know what, I'm into this.  I've been considering a new ear piercing lately or even my nose pierced (...again) but is 30 too old for that sorta thing?  I've got about 2 more months of my twenties left in me so it just feels like now or never!  

3.  This is my ddrreeaaaaammmmm.   I once worked at a salon that mixed its own lipglosses and I did not truly appreciate the magic at my fingertips at the time.  Youth it wasted on the young!  

4.  I was just telling the hubs the other day that I want to make a big batch of fudge to keep in the freezer for some sneaky snacking every now and then.  I mean, it's unlikely to look as beautiful as this but a girl can try.  

5.  I'd like to add one thing to this list: "All bugs extinct forever guaranteed" and Eric's would be "Allergies are no longer a thing anymore" 

6.  Well hey, that's pretty easy huh?

August Beauty Favorites
